St. Lambert School is a Catholic elementary school established in 1958 and is currently one of six Catholic elementary schools, a junior high and a high school that comprise the Sioux Falls Catholic Schools. St. Lambert School primarily serves the parishioners of St. Lambert Parish, St. Therese Parish, Our Lady of Guadalupe, and St. Josephine Bakhita all on the east side of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. St. Lambert School is comprised of approximately 160 students preschool through sixth grade. Parents appreciate the Preschool Plus options for full-day preschool care, full-day Kindergarten program, and the before/after school programs.
At St. Lambert School, students grow and develop skills, habits, knowledge, and faith. Religious instruction is an integral part of our education process. Students prepare and participate in weekly school liturgies. Our students continually earn high scores and demonstrate excellent growth in academic areas on formal, informal and standardized tests. Our professional, caring, and dedicated staff help all students achieve their fullest potential in safe and positive environments.
The climate at St. Lambert School is a warm, inviting family atmosphere with a close-knit staff, involved parents, and strong school tradition and spirit. St. Lambert School has an experienced teaching staff committed to our mission. We strive for low student/teacher ratios. We employ educational assistants and library staff and certified academic services, art, physical education, guidance, vocal & instrumental music, and computer teachers. We are fully accredited by the state of South Dakota.

All St. Lambert parents and staff are automatically members of our School Family Organization. Meetings are held four times during the school year. SFO sponsors several fundraisers and fun-raisers throughout the school year. SFO coordinates the Beginning Bash, 50’s Dance, St. Lambert shirts and sweatshirts, as well as activities for Catholic Schools week and Staff Appreciation Week. Watch the school calendars for details.
The Technology Raffle Committee is comprised of members of the St. Lambert School community interested in coordinating/sponsoring the technology raffle for our school. The raffle is held annually in the spring to raise funds for hardware purchases. The school receives no budget money for hardware, so we rely heavily on the funds raised by this raffle. This committee typically meets a couple times a year to determine student prizes and selling dates as well as the organization of ticket tracking and money raised. All are welcome.
If you can help out in any of these areas, or for more information, contact the school office @ 338-7042.
Volunteer Drivers must fill out the Volunteer Driver Form yearly.
